Customer Spotlight: MSC OPAS

MSC OPAS is well-known throughout the Bryan-College Station community and deservedly so. Since its founding in 1972, OPAS has provided our area with diverse, professional productions from all over the world.

Standing Ovation for the first performance “Jersey Boys” at Texas A&M.

With major cities like Austin, Houston, and Dallas surrounding BCS, we are sometimes overlooked as a place major acts would want to stop in at. OPAS has sought to change that mindset and make BCS a destination for touring performances.

While many people might associate OPAS with only theatrical performances, they would be selling OPAS short of the vast array of entertainment they have brought to BCS.

For 45 years, OPAS has presented productions of theatre, music, comedy, and dance programs that enlighten, entertain and inspire audiences of the Brazos Valley.

For years, OPAS has sought to bring the best of the best to the Texas A&M campus. Because of their dedication to the arts, we have been lucky enough to have Willie Nelson, Yo-Yo Ma, “Les Miserables,” Jerry Seinfeld, “Jersey Boys,” and even dinosaurs brought to life on stage!

Since 2004, we have been fortunate enough to work with OPAS and see the passion they have for the arts and arts diversity in our community. They have worked hard to help promote the arts not just to adults but to children and students as well. Year after year they continue to bring in world-class performers who give our community a chance to see something unique and special.
